Yup that's another majorly corny post title.. I'm sinking lower and lower with each post.. lol..

I think we're all beyond a doubt that I have a major blush-crush problem. I simply cannot resist a beautiful blusher. Before I knew it, I was the proud-but-poor owner of the two new mineralised blushers that came out in MACs holiday collection.

Who doesn't love the holidays?! Especially when they bring with them beautiful holiday collections!!

Guerlain is a brand that I consider pretty high-end, with a price tag to match.. Being the el cheapo that I am, I would never in a million years have thought I would own anything from them. But thanks to some agressive marketing and promotions with some products going for 50% off in previous months, I am now somehow an owner of a Guerlain collection and a newly converted fan. So you know I had to pick up something from the Imperiale Holiday collection, which looked simply divine.

Ladies and other ladies, this Punk has arrived.

I am so majorly in love with this nail polish, that I get mesmerized by my own fingers if I stare at them directly for too long..

I usually post the name of products as the title.. But this one was kinda long so I just used the name of this particular shade instead.. But you can see from the box it's full name.. lol..

It has come to my attention that I have wayyyyy tooooo much makeup, and I'm now valiantly trying to rotate through them so they don't go to waste, and also to try and finish some of the.. lol.. like that's ever gonna happen... But here goes, with Products of the Week - Week 1



I'm gonna start small with Base makeup. I love being completely random with my point makeup, choosing which e/s or blush to use every morning is pretty fun.. so I'll go with using L'egere White Multi BB Cream and Guerlain Meteorites in 04 Pearly White.

So basically these 2 are going to be POTWs, and I'll use them everday for the whole week.. and rotate again next week. Maybe then i'll finally be able to finish something.. lol...

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!! I don't celebrate my birthday much, but it's great having my friends/family around me and I'm really blessed with great people around me =)

Now let's get on to the topic of the day. Is it technically possible to haul from Korea when I've never actually been there? lol... CPs are great.. and CPs are evil too..

I'm not big on the whole Birthday thing, since I stopped celebrating it once I hit into a certain age group.. lol.. But I fully appreciate presents!!! hahahaha

Blair is such a sweetie for getting me presents!!! (nope its not from Muji.. lol..)





She knows me well.. hahahaha a blush, an eyeshadow palette, lipstick and VOV sheet mask!! Perfect I say!

I love weird nail colours.. I think in my entire collection of nail colours, I have a grand total of no more than 4 red/pink polishes.. hahaha

This NOTW is a really sweet blue, and I have gotten many compliments and comments about how pretty it looks! Seems I've developed a reputation as "the funky nail polish girl" in the office.. lol..



This is yet another Elianto nail polish, a sweet and pretty blue colour very aptly named Alice Blue.. Again its very long lasting, as I've had it on since Sunday night, this picture was taken on Thurs night, and now it's Friday night and still no visible chipping! Amazing I say!!



Bright and Cheery blue that lasts all week! All for 5rm, approximiately S$2.. What a great deal! I'm loving Elianto nail polishes!!

Been kinda busy lately and feeling bit old and haggard as my birthday approaches in a week's time.. lol.. Which has resulted in me sinking into a bit of a rut in terms of playing with colors.. I haven't had much motivation to play with colors and have been sticking to my neutrals for the office and even the weekends..

This is one of my neutral palettes which haven't gotten much blog-love from me, so I'm going to have one entire post dedicated to it! hahahaha

My obsession with blush is creeping past borderline into full-blown scary.. Thanks to Kim who allowed me to use her discount from Beauty.com, I psyched myself into hauling blushers.. yet again..

Biguine is a brand that caught my eye the last time I was in the South of France. On one of my rare breaks from work, I wandered into their local department store Monoprix and spotted this brand at the cosmetics section. The main items that caught my eye were the baked products, the blushers, powders, eyeshadows were lovely to look at, and I was sorely tempted.

I have a problem dealing with stress in life.. I shop.. Which is a huge problem.. But thank goodness I was born with a cheapo streak in me.. Probably the only thing that's keeping me from running up huge shopping debts.. lol..

I was drawn to Sephora's website for some reason I no longer remember, and spotted some deals I couldn't pass up! But since Sephora only accepts US based credit cards (of which I had none), I had to resort to participating in a spree.. and lord knows they take a long time from beginning to end.. But finally my loot arrived!!!

I have an unhealthy obsession with gel/mousse/liquid eyeshadows. One of my favorites is the Kate Gel Eyeshadow, which was released some time earlier this year I believe. I snagged a few from Taiwan while I was there in May, and I absolutely love them.

It occured to me that I never posted about this particular palette which I got during the not-so-recent Urban Decay FF sale. With 30% discount, it was haul time! I completely ignored the fact that I had barely broken in my first UD palettes, the Sustainable Bamboo Shadow Box. Oops..

Been awhile since I did a NOTW, considering that I had a mani-pedi while I was in BKK, I just wasn't inspired to show it, plus I chipped my nail within the next 24hrs.. lol..

Here's what I've been sporting on my nails the past week since Sunday.



This is such an interesting colour. I find it hard to describe it to people who haven't seen it, and even while looking at it, I'm still a bit stumped. It's closest to what I would say is a purple-based grey with very fine shimmer. It doesn't show up very well on my lousy camera, but it really is quite a complex colour and I've got comments that it looks purple while others claims it looks greyish..



Anyway it's Elianto's Glittery Nickel. I believe Elianto has two ranges of nail polishes, and this is the more expensive one, though I got it at a price of two for RM18, which is approximately S$4, which is still pretty darn cheap. I find it pretty long lasting too! I've had it on since Sunday evening, and I only took the photo today, which is Thursday.. and so far no chipping! The tips are wearing off, but that's bearly discernible! I love long-lasting polishes!!

I have mad love for Japanese eyeshadows, be it drugstore - Lavshuca, Kate, MM or counter brands - Maquillage, Lunasol and most recently, Coffret D'or. I had been lemming to try this Coffret eyeshadows since I first played with the testers for the Shine Accent Eyes in  Taiwan. But as we all know, I got very distracted by Maquillage then, and sadly forgot about Coffret D'or. However, my lemmings were revived in full force by the Coffret D'or's new Colour Mixing Eyes. The colours looked vibrant and gorgeous and I knew I needed to get my hands on them. But being the cheapo I am, I waited rather impatiently for a sale or some sort of discount. My prayers were answered by the Metro 20% sale! It's becoming quite a frequent event since the last time I majorly hauled there was barely 2 months ago!

I haven't actually done a post on my total haul during the sale, which actually happened before I went to Bangkok.. lol.. But here's a part of it =)
