Little Twin Stars have always been one of my favorite characters, and I couldn't resist the urge to pick up this cologne spray from Demeter Fragrance Library when I spotted it in NYC earlier this year.

The scent is a delightfully refreshing citrusy scent, which I really quite like. I was so tempted to get the My Melody one as well, but I really didn't quite like the scent, hence I stuck with just Little Twin Stars. As part of the Sanrio collection, there was also a Hello Kitty one, but I wasn't too big a fan so I passed quite easily.



This cost US$15 plus tax, which I thought was a pretty reasonable price. However as the scent doesn't last very long, I might end up going through this very quickly if I reapplied frequently.

The Demeter Fragrance Library has a huge array of scents for just about anything, from Raindrops to Snow to Lychee to Vanilla Cake Batter. The list is just endless!

Again I have to apologise for the infrequent updates. I've been averaging 11-12 hours at work each day and even over the weekends, so I haven't had much spare time or energy to blog. So I figured let me do some Quick Peeks of some items I've been playing around with in my stash.

How many people get suckered into buying stuff just cuz it's cute? Many I'm sure.. And most of these people would probably at some time in their life have been suckered into buying something Hello Kitty related. Hence the uproar in the beauty community when the Hello Kitty for Sephora collection debuted earlier this year. I checked out the collection when I was in US earlier this year, but wasn't too impressed. However I did eventually end up coming home with something...

Sorry for the sporadic posts lately.. Work has been mad crazy and I'm putting in about 12hrs each day, which doesn't leave me with much energy or time to post. But let's talk about happier things.. like blush!!

I managed to resist Tokidoki's previous Robbery palette, but when I spotted the Sodashop palette sitting in Sephora in NYC, my resistance crumbled. I gave in to that voice in my head that went "Gimme Gimme Gimme"

I have a soft spot for Guerlain products, and it's actually one of the only few high-end brands that I willingly shell out full-price for. Of course I had to pick up a blush from them. What kind of blush fiend would I be otherwise?

Wet n Wild went through probably one of the most successful brand revivals fairly recently and they're now all the rage in the beauty world. Of course I had to check out what the fuss was about. And since they're extremely reasonably priced, I ended up hauling quite a few pieces =P

I've been going through a nail polish-a-holic phase ever since I managed to pick up some new brands, such as Butter London, Nfu Oh, and Deborah Lippmann (post to come soon-ish). I've been really motivated to change my nail colour every couple of days, instead of my usual weekly change.

Anyway this post is about my mini Illamasqua nail polish haul from Icefrost's spree when there was a 20% code online recently. You probably remember that I'm a huge fan of Illamasqua's blushes but I also recently fell in love with their nail polishes after trying them out in the States. But I restricted myself to just two shades and I'm really happy with my final decision!
